Video Production for businesses is more in demand then ever before. It is easily the most effective way to promote a company’s brand, and to inform its clients and customers about its products.

Eye Spy Security’s second promotional video focused on highlighting one of the most dangerous jobs in its industry: The Traveling Salesperson. They are frequently robbed at gunpoint and many wear bulletproof vests as a precaution.  Eye Spy Security bait gps systems were designed with this in mind.  The completely wireless system is a perfect device to be hidden among the salesperson’s general merchandise.

The video production concept was taken from a common robbery scenario.  The salesman, carrying a large quantity of merchandise, stops for lunch.  While he eats, the merchandise is stolen from the vehicle it is left in.  An even more disturbing element of these situations is that the salesman are stalked and once they leave the vehicle the crooks move in for the heist. The creative decision was made by Steven Reilander in a brainstorming session with Eye Spy Security executives to show the entire robbery from the salesman’s perspective.  He is none the wiser to the robbery, However, with the gps device he is sent an alert text message prompting him to check on his merchandise and vehicle.  He discovers the burglary has taken place and is able to track and call police in a very short time frame.  The speedy discovery helps the police track and receive these stolen goods, increasing the chance of recovery.

The production took place in Sidney, British Columbia at locally owned Toast Café.   The space was graciously lent to us and we were able finish the primary photography in one day.
